I have discovered that about 60 years ago, in Sicily children got their presents on Nov 1, not Christmas. Apparently the “blessed souls” (ie spirits of ancestors) brought the presents.
This demonstrates… It’s cool to be confident in your convictions and ignore the nay-sayers. In this case, Linus’ convictions hurt no one, intruded on no one; he was not forcing them on Lucy. But he had a plan and was acting on it. He just had to ignore her. Let’s learn from Linus!
