Ah… that’s true! To continue the Ferris Bueller theme would be to wait in this kitchen scene until the very end of the day.

Arlo would come back in before bed and query, “You’re still here?! Go. Shoo. Thanks for coming. Off you go…”

i say if we’re serious about saving daylight, we should change the clocks twice a day, not just twice a year! Forward at 2PM. back at 2 AM!

A&J is one of the best strips when it comes to breaking the 4th wall.

Arlo not only broke the fourth wall, he ground it into glass-dust.BTW, all you perspicacious explainers: Can anyone tell me what the symbol is on the guy’s head in the Nov. 2 Bizarro_?http://www.goupstate.com/article/99999999/MULTIMEDIA/111129793?featureid=Bizarro&featuredate=2012-11-02

    Gokie —

    Just because I love a puzzle….

First, your link requires several steps to follow, so here’s a more direct one

    Hope it works!

(OK…. it does, but you have to give it a moment to open.)

I didn’t recognise the symbol though…similar to, but not, The Flying Spaghetti Monster…

So I actually (and here’s the obsessive puzzle-lover part)DREW it, and did a Google drag ’n drop image search, with no results.

it could be partial…. but I’d think Google would have found a similarity.

    Anybody?

Gokie — you’re welcome to download my drawing and search elsewhere.

    I think you’re right…(you usually are… LOL )

Here’s one of those pseudo-alien ones (oh please ) that looks quite similar.

    Thanks once again, CoBass!

There are not many crop circles in Texas. It is still a felony to damage crops.

Thanks, Susan and CoBass! If I find anything that definitively identifies the alien barber’s crop circle, I’ll let you know. Right now, I’d guess that it’s an alien’s generic version of a crop circle.
