I’ve been unplugged from TV for a few years now. It is refreshing. The time to access alternative news sources is AFTER inauguration! Keep paying attention! Stay awake because policies never match campaign politics.
Television news has ADHD and soon will move on to the next shiny object. Probalby the jobs report, then the election, then whatever.
It is funny how much apathy Americans have regarding politics. The right of free speech was bought and paid for by the blood of so many that came before us, and we spend so much time complaining how it annoys us. Not just in comics, but on TV, facebook… where ever. Cubans and Iranians would love our problems.
Reminds me of the time a record company put out a disc of – nothing! It was popular in the juke boxes, 25c for three plays of silence. In some cases it got played so much it became noisy.
Some county’s ballots have a square for “None of the above”The shame is in the billions that have been spent on political ads that only bash the opponents. And then wonder why so many regard all politicians as crooks.Well, it’s bacause they are telling us that they are!!!!

There’s hurricane blather and then there’s political blather: pick your poison.
It is interesting to note the increased national coverage Sandy is getting now that NYC has been hit.
