Heart: Ta dah! The official end of my Halloween candy! Mom: Are you telling me you ate all of your Halloween candy already?! Heart: Last year's...yeah... I think it might take longer to get through this year's bag, though. Mom: Sigh. Got any peanut chews?

Ah yes, Peanut Chews, a Philadelphia treat since 1949. The company has gone through some hard times, but the last I heard the current owners are expanding their distribution on the east coast and have even put back the original name: Goldenberg’s Peanut Chews.

Maybe next year they will just buy some candy and just watch halloween specials on DVD while wearing costumes.
