La la loo! Because many of a parrot's calls are learned rather than instinctive, parrot populations often develop local dialects in their songs depending on what birds they grew up with! The Pacific island nation of Kiribati straddles both the equator and the international date line! Jonathan Woodlief of Dallas, Texas, USA, needed a kidney transplant in 2012, and his wife of less than a month, Caitlin, was a match, despite less than 1 in 100 odds!

Forget flowers and chocolates.
Providing your ailing beloved with a replacement kidney? Now THAT’S love.
There oughta be a “Love is…” on THAT couple.

I’m impressed by Kiribati’s location and by the Woodliefs.

Yes, defying steep odds she was a match alright, just as it says.it doesn’t say she went along with it, though.she gets married and then the first thing he asks of her is for her to be put under, hacked open with a knife and have one of her perfectly working kidneys removed and then to have to deal with the recuperation of said operation.seems like a lot to ask
