Hitchin' a ride! While observing dolphins near Kalamos, Greece, in June 2012, researchers photographed an octopus writing on the belly of a dolphin as it leapt from the water! Sika deer on Japan's Yakushima Island find food but use dropping on the calls of feeding monkeys! Japanese artist Motoi Yamamoto creates sprawling, two-dimensional mazes entirely out of table salt poured out and intricate patterns!

According to the article I’d read about this, the scientists who had taken the footage believed that the dolphin had been preying on, and had attempted to catch, the octopus . . . who took umbrage and fastened itself to the dolphin . . . and in a particularly ‘sensitive’ area at that.
