Today’s the big day

FINALLY, an end to the political calls! At least for a while.

@hawgowar : I usually start talking softer and softer so they strain to ear (or turn up their volume) and scream into the headset "help! help! – they are coming and bang the phone on the desk a few times :) (gunshot sound effects will definitely add to the effect)Strangely enough I seem to get fewer nuisance calls these days

A thought for the Day:If you are part of a society that votes, then do so. There may be no candidates and no measures you want to vote for…but there are certain to be ones you want to vote against. In case of doubt, vote against. By this rule you will rarely go wrong. If this is too blind for your taste, consult some well-meaning fool (there is always one around) and ask his advice. Then vote the other way. This enables you to be a good citizen (if such is your wish) without spending the enormous amount of time on it that truly intelligent exercise of the franchise requires.-Lazarus Long (by Robert A. So does he sleep standing up? This year was bad enough that I started listening to the commercial free, talk free classical station… And now, bring on the Christmas music!

Yep people lets get out there and vote!

As much as I absolutely dislike both candidates I voted early so I’m done with all of this mess for another 4 years.

The sleeping shtick is kinda tiresome.

Or you’re in a “safe” state for one party or the other. I’m in Virginia and never used to get much. This year, multiple calls, every day.
