They don’t? When did we stop eating Turkey at Christmas? Ham seems to be more of an Easter thing around here.

Yeah, most people here are happy on Christmas for their salivation more than their salvation.

I grew up with big Thanksgiving turkey dinners…and buffet-style lunch at my aunt’s house at Christmas. Never had a big sit-down Christmas dinner.

We always had turkey at Christmas when I was a kid. Now I go more for rib toast. I’d try a goose if it didn’t co$t $o much.

My family is of Polish descent. For Christmas, the big dinner (Wigilia) was always held on Christmas Eve and it was always fish. Christmas Day, my mom usually made a pot roast with all the trimmings. We almost always had turkey for Thanksgiving and a ham for Easter.

Indeed. Along with Prime Rib. In fact, Meat is the traditional holiday meat. LOL. Forget the Tofurkey and your Vegeloaf. Give me delicious dead, roasted animal carcass any day.

I believe lamb is the traditional meal for Easter, representing the “Lamb of God” Not sure about the mint jelly.

On Turkey Day, we used to have a least 20-25 people at my aunt’s house. When 1 person had to get up, it was the one in the corner. Therefore, one side of the table had to move. These days the families got too big, so it’s down to about 10 people. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!

I’m having ham tmr., may even have ham on Christmas too. Had turkey last year for Thanksgiving. I’m also having a tofurkey for my one vegan son. Dang those things are expensive, you know that?

And New Year’s day will be Pork and Sauerkraut, WHICH ASHBURN STADIUM SHOULD KNOW ABOUT! :-D
