X … love the antique-y look they give the Bugle for the holidays.
I’m gonna have to pick up a few extra copies for some out of town friends.
Nice that they dropped the price in the paperboxes….it was hard coming up with 48¢ in change.
Not that 31¢ is that much easier….but at least now the machines will accept those Ballard County Centennial 33¢ pieces, if you don’t care about getting your change.
Turkey? I won’t be doing that; too much hassle. Anyway, we have that quite often. Not a special day, here; so it’s grab what’s in the fridge as usual. I fancy a nice vegetable risotto with plenty of mushrooms.
Happy Thanksgiving everyoneI “shoe” hope you all have a safe and happy day.It “shoe” would be bad if problems happen. “Shoe” be safe and behave. Now I have a problem Go Cowboys or Go Redskins. Let the “SHOE” go on!!!!!!!!!
Good Morning fellow Ballardeers. Here’s wishing you all a very HAPPY THANKSGIVING DAY ! For my friends not in the U.S. , Happy Thursday !I’ve been away visiting friends for the holiday ( deep frying a turkey for them & making acorn squash with fresh apples, pear, and dried currents ) but I’ll be back at the Tiki tonight to hoist a cup of holiday cheer with all of you.I hope you all have a wonderful day .
" “Nuditry” is the act of committing mischief while naked. (I made up that definition.)Acts of nude pranksterism are escalating."++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++Love it!!! LOL
Fenton, Thank you for working the Tiki this evening and I hope you had a great dinner. I did bring you an apology Turkey leg. So sorry I had your name wrong the other evening. So, heres your doggie bag and I mean that in an entirely good way. Enjoy. But first could I get a bottle of Asti Spumante? Its my holiday drink of choice. Thank you kind Sir, and Happy Thanksgiving!
@briatollah & breviek – Feeling jaded? a bit full after all that deep fried turkey pumpkin pies? Join me for a morning cuppa Dilmah Ceylon tea!www.dilmahtea.com
I recommend this one:http://onlineshop.dilmahtea.com/products/Premium-Leaf-Tea-250g-%28pack-of-6%29.htmlwhich I am drinking right now! And you can order it online!
I had pumpkin pie for breakfast, that way there was room for it. I grilled a turkey drumstick outdoors, with hickory chips to make it nice and smokey. I also made smashed potatoes. I didn’t go all out, as I only had myself to cook for this year. Well me and a stray cat that came around. He got the bone.
Assuming here that Mr. Stacey has only one shod foot, and that Nelson is the fellow whose hat is on the ground, I have to wonder; is there a connection between their respective circumstances?

In the article it is explained that those are shots of Wild Turkey not shots at wild turkeys.

Hey, everybody!Have a great day! Hope to see most of you at some point…
I plan to stop by the Carriage House (if…well…if I’m …you know…. invited…)and then on to the Tiki for appetizers.
My actual dinner will be 45 miles south…but I hope to be back at the Tiki for a nightcap…. and probably some yak….later on.
Meanwhile….
