I used to do (well, ::cough::cough:: still do, as a matter of fact) things like this. For instance, avidly gazing at the odometer to watch it turn over, or watching a clock to see all the time and date digits identically match up.
I like her userpic. Also, I don’t see any problems with staring at stuff, watching things go by. It’s deeper than you might think at first. And SO much better than staring at your monitor 14 hours a day.

No, watching grass grow is what all equines do with eager anticipation. The last leaf must be a metaphor for something else. Maybe Todd could help.
