Kinda blunt, there Doc. But I guess that’s pretty much like it has to be.

Linda has to do this on her own. At least Maude will be a sympathetic observer.

The return of Doc’s well-known faceBrings a certain “been there” to the placeDoc’s advice is quite toughBut Maude’s making if roughSince the patient’s right there in this caseMaude’s just helped Linda K back to bedThen calls Doc. If she’s heard what was saidOf how she was attackedAnd might be somewhat whackedIt might worsen the flaw in her headOf course there’ll be a time to be frankAnd discussions will then be point-blankBut she’s now in such painThat there’s little to gainAnd she won’t be inclined much to thank=|====/ Level HeadVote for Endtown 2.0And for Doc Rat, tooThe Endtown ForumThe Endtown AuctionThe Endtown Books

Depression is actually not understood by most persons unless you have it. Popping pills is not a cure. But someone with depression who wishes to live a fairly normal life does appreciate pills. People who donate their bodies to medical science are appreciated because of the opportunity to discover and examine the brain functions, chemicals, blood activity and if they are lucky someone who has not gone to off the street relief from constant or bipolar depression. I know. I know. And my body is donated to UCDavis Medical for the “baby doctors” to do what ever they wish. I even have plans to use a black marker to point out areas that should be of greater interest. And to warn them on the area that they will find moths. Snork!!!!Blessed Be

Ok, this was the comic that made me sign up for this. Well done Aaron for that. :P

With that, I do have to say the reason why I joined is because there is just something about the Doc that makes me think of Doctor Sherman Cottle from Battlestar Galactica.

It might be the look, or it might be that world view of “You want a Doctor who cares? Then go back to before the end of the world”. Or the fact he is using this to mask his true feelings towards those he treats. Regardless, it is good to see that Doctor Sherman Cottle has kept himself well over these last few (thousand) years. :P

You all know Maude isnt going to just sit back and watch. Possibly use her own brand of therapy. (No pun intended)

Umm, what is the doctor there for? Stitching up wounds?Or treating the near-terminal cases of flatulence due to the prevailing diet?Surely some pharmacies survived up there, along with all the cans of beans..

Also, re: my comments yesterday about the lightswitch and radio—-archaic phones, cords and rotary dials.#On the other hand…we’ve got a last name for Maude.#And another other thought…I like the way everybody in Endtown (a) knows each other, and (b) they way they care about each other…nice touch…

I guess it shouldn’t be surprising that quite a few folks have PTSD, running around the apocalyptic wasteland of the world.

Alas, it seems my training for the inevitable apocalypse with Left 4 Dead has proven wrong in that there aren’t a bunch of pills laying around for when you need to cure pain or psychological trauma. Damn you, video games!

Maude Hefner. Told you back in the day she was a looker. Centerfold Cowboy Magazine a few years back. Fame and fortune lead to eating too much oats and she quit working out.The doc is correct only Linda call pull herself out but I imagine Maude is going to do her best to help. She appears that way. She is the house mother. She sees the residents as her family. This is going to be good.

Republican plan? has anyone demanded money before treatment? Dunno about “Obamacare” but I know damn well my sister and neice would be dead were it not for the NHS – and my grandma had to sell furniture to pay for drugs to save my uncle pre-war. The price of justice is eternal vigilance and beware false benefactors.

And back to the strip (apologies for rant)…Linda was foetal in the corner when Maude found her – she’s in bed now – what’s Maude had to do to get her there? Is she still silently foetal? It’s a good job a koala don’t weigh too much…..

Ah….. Nabu just carries on like that. You really want to trip. In the new Call of Duty Black Ops II you work off the newest Aircraft carrier in the world. Massively overloaded with technology, totally at the mercy of hacking, big over blown, and really massive. It is called the USS Barak Obama. Known as the big “Ohh”.Yeah, I was laughing too.It gets its computer and stuff hacked and takes down the entire US defense network then attacks the entire world after high jacking the defense network.

I for one would appreciate it if we could just focus on the politics of Endtown instead, Jake Jackrabbit, the drunken mayor, Mallard ect… Their politics tend to be a lot more fun.

On the subject of names—-well, we seem to be away from the alliterative names of the early days, at least—-but, remember, Jake Jackrabbit wanted everybody to embrace their “animal ethnicity” and choose new last names to suit their new appearances. “Hefner” is awful close to “Heiffer.” (Of course, she could be Mrs. Hefner, for all I know.)

GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR????????What country are you from?WARS ARE NOT PATRIOTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!They are an IDIOTIC attempt at one nation or people forcing their views or opinions on others.Only time I ever heard PATRIOTIC being used to justify a war was the Communists and other malcontents. It was a good word to justify conquests for their own gains.ALL WARS ARE PATRIOTIC To THE LEADERS but ITS THE SOLDIERS WHO DIE.Propaganda used to get you to feel GOOD about offing yourself or better killing others.

Night whateverYou are an idiot.HEMP is MARIJUANA!!!!!!!!!!!!!It was grown and harvested to make the big ropes for ships. The fibers were weaved to make really strong rope wet or dry.My dad who was in the Maritime service said when they would run out of tobacco on a trip they would chop up the hemp rope and smoked it. He remembers it had a little kick but they did not know of the THC in the hemp. Gave no more a kick than a Camel cigarette which was the strongest at the time according to him.The marijuana currently used is a HYBRID grown not for rope but to increase the THC agent which is what gives the buzzes in your noodle.Golly get your facts straight.

That kind of trauma and guilt is a tremendous load to carry. Even if the guilt isn’t really yours to carry, and in this case it is safe to say she was guilty, if through ignorance. If Linda can keep away from the booze then she has a chance to overcome.

Politics is dirty! We didn’t come here to hear people blast the president, nor did we come here to say how stupid it is to play politics rather than doing what is good for the country!Stop it all! Lizard, you brought it up and got Nebu to go nebu over it all. Don’t get people like him started! It is a disservice for any of us to go off on that tangent! Please respect Aaron N. and his Town!
