The ’Larks, led by a pimply faced frosh QB, drive down the field. The offense sputters with a holding penalty and with 0:42 left in the game, Brody Albro lines up for a 30 yd. FG. GALLAGHER LOOKS TO THE EMERALD iSLE FOR Doyle to do something goofy….
So apparently Milford wins the title thanks to TEAMWORK!!! as the oline overcomes the loss of their QB. Gaping TEAMWORK!! holes created by the “all for one one for all” lineman result in an unstoppable running game, and Gallagher sees the TEAMWORK!! light. So is that how the game will end and is this the year Milford finally wins the title and is in the playdowns? Or another last second disappointment?
Somehow I’d feel a little bit better if Gil himself was doing something in his own strip. And, if he isn’t going to do anything else, maybe he could check with maintenance to see if they can move that bench a few more inches back from the playing field. That looks like one big accident waiting to happen.
Either the punter is planning to kick the ball out of bounds 3 yards beyond the line of scrimmage or he’s got some massive torque in his kicking technique.
So are we to assume that New Thayer has kicked three field goals or are we talking touchdown and safety? Also, what quarter is it? These are important things we need to know.
@miffedmax — There was a great Bewitched episode in which Endora put a spell on Darin that make him speak in nothing but cliches. Even though it was the second Darin, it was still hilarious.

Why don’t the dark shadows go over the white stripes on the field?

Teamwork from the o-line, a winning field goal, and the playdowns. A little convoluted, but they got there in the end.

Poor Steve. Not only did he lose an arm, a blow to his head left him able to speak only in awful cliches.
