D: harass the guy until he picks them up and then lock him in his own dungeon.

My husband did this too, dropped his underwear and socks next to the hamper…yeah, i confronted him about this…didn’t work. Then i just left it there for a week and the cat barfed over it…That got the message through to my hubby…because he had to clear the mess up… :-D

it is a pair of socks…pick them up or don’t pick them up…it doesn’t matter.

Simple: take the socks to his workbench and nail them down with multiple nails.

When my hubby left things around I would put them away somewhere out of my way. When he couldn’t find things I would ask ’Where did you last leave it?" and let him look for it.

Best go with A or B, neither of which will do any harm. C makes everyone miserable, which is sometimes the point (misery loves company, or as Calvin said with an evil grin, “Nothing helps a bad mood like spreading it around.”).

Start picking up the carelessly discarded clothes & they think you are their personal MAID. Grow up & pick up your clothes like an ADULT.

@comicnut4636,Dungeon know that’s one of the worst puns ever. I wouldn’t have thought of it, I’m sorry to say.Rose might as well start “Crying”, too, since she’s attached to a ‘bawlin’ chain’.

When dirty clothes are not in the hamper where they belong, they don’t get washed. Even if they are lying right beside it.

My Gram told the story of how my Gramps would just drop his dirty socks on the floor. She picked them up and put them in the hamper many times before she complained to him about it. He replied, “I earn a good living and pay all the bills on time. I take care of the yard and repair anything around the house that needs fixing. I care for and support you and the children in the things you want to do. Is it really so awful of a thing that I leave my socks on the floor?” When she thought about it that way, she never complained about it again until after Gramps died at 48 from a massive aortal aneurysm. Then, she would bemoan the fact that she would never get to pick up his dirty socks for him again.

…and Gramps would never get to leave his socks on the floor, or put the socks into the hamper.
