The suicide, if that is what it is, may not be a dream. Maybe Corey is waking up the next day and his dream was trying to process what happened. That would mean we’ll be seeing the flashback of the actual event next…
Very interesting turn of events for the comic. Many things to consider: 1) Is January really dead? Or could it be that she killed someone? An attacker, perhaps, hence the “Help” text. 2) If she is dead, is it suicide? It seems a bit less likely to be suicide than something else because she texted “help”. Unless of course as she was dying (perhaps from an overdose) she texted “Help” to Cory. 3) Could all of this be a dream? The “upside-down-face” January is of course a dream, but if this whole arc is a dream it would be rather jolting and (at least to me) a bit unsettling. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++If this is all a dream (the whole sequence, not just today), then I will probably pay less attention to this comic, as “dream sequence” story arcs, and (in my opinion) the whole story arc about Cory having a building named after him after the paper/cheating fiasco are too absurdest for me and significantly dull my interest.

This is really weird borderline creepy, but this storyline has definitely piqued my interest.

OK, so the suicide was in his dream. I’m not sure if I’m relieved or disappointed.
