You must have missed the part of this story arc where they changed their minds about not having a romantic relationship — right before Quill got the news that his family was moving back to Australia and they needed him to start packing ASAP. If you go back a couple of months, you’ll find it.

time zones….she celebrates with him on 12/31 at 4am( 19 hours ahead), and he celebrates with her on 1/1 at 6pm australia time. and, how can one be super romantic via webcam on this teen-rated comic strip?

I wouldn’t worry about the romance too much, Frank and Nancy; but the sanity, yes, there’s the rub.

BTW, Kiama is about 60-80 miles South of Sydney. Which puts it 19 hours ahead of PST. The Aussie new year for Quill will be celebrated at 5:00 AM PST on Dec 31 in Cal. Quill would ring in Luann’s new year on Jan 1 at 7:00 PM.

This whole story line is getting quite old and boring. Greg needs to have Luann get laid or forget about it.

Last week, there was a bit of a debate over whether or not Luann was left-handed; I insisted that she was always left-handed, but, no one seemed to take my word for it… this comic shows that not only does she open her locker with her left hand, but also that she wears her watch on her right wrist. Luann IS a lefty!

What sanity is there to monitor?-Plenty to seek.

Interesting – in the third panel where Bernice and Luann are walking out of the classroom, Luann’s watch is on her left wrist and nothing is on her right. When she tells Aaron what time it is, it has moved to the right wrist. Hmmm.

I just figured out how it got there – in the fifth panel, Bernice says, “Right” and miraculously it appeared on Luann’s right wrist. Pretty clever, Greg…..^^As a fellow (though not as successful) cartoonist, I can tell you ,that such mistakes are common… wrong wrist, extra fingers, outfits changing mysteriously (like a tie in one pic and no tie on the next) are pretty common… anyway, Luann is and always has been a lefty

btw luann phone screens are dirtier than toilet seats so maybe dont kiss it
