It’s easy to create jobs: build pyramids, dig holes and fill them in, shuffle government forms, etc. Jobs yes, but not productive work. That can only be created by the private sector which is currently crippled by regulation, taxation, and economic uncertainty. But the public has spoken: They want what Obama wants, whatever that is.
Here we go again, reality denial 101, Geez guys, pay attention: moving on now. The GOP have become a bunch of old codgers yelling at the kids on the lawn, while the wealthy pick their pockets and burn their house down.
Bill Clinton was a conservative Democrat. Andrew Cuomo is a moderate Democrat. Obama is a liberal. For starters, Obama can get a clue of how business actually operates. Big multinationals have trillions of dollars outside the US that will never make it here as long as we’ll tax it at 35%. Other countries don’t tax repatriated income, even “socialist” havens like Sweden. When Bush and Congress passed through a repatriation holiday in the early 2000s, it spiked economic activity and got us out of the post-dot-com doldrums.
4 years of Bernanke’s dollar printing presses and Obama’s “stimulus” have us “growing” at the slowest rate coming out of a recession in decades. Deep recessions are usually followed by healthy recoveries, not 1-2% growth and 7.7% unemployment after 4 years. Another repatriation holiday would do a lot more help than QE4/5/6.
The Republican controlled house has voted against every job creation package presented, even ones they first authored because they wanted to make sure Obama was a one term President .

But democrats and liberals consider it racist and elitist to create jobs in America for American citizens.

@zoidpawn How can you inject racism into a cartoon that had nothing to do with racism. Get a life and tuck in your shirt. Your hood is showing.

At least Winslow is cheaper than Obama’s proposed “Secretary of Business” would be. He’s just as productive, as well.

I once had a job like that. It was pure bliss, but it made me feel guilty that I was earning free money so I quit and got a real job.
