Well, there’s Animal Planet…Someone told me there’s a 24 hr “Dog Channel” but I think they were teasing me. It’s probably better than some of the themed channels out there.
A note for you history buffs. Apollo 10 was the dry run for the first lunar landing and worthy of note : The command module was named “Charlie Brown” and the Lunar Module “Snoopy”
I’ve always felt that this particular strip was inspired by a real-world event. Waaaayy back in the 60’s, when this first ran, ABC ran a four-hour documentary called “The Africa Project”, hosted by Gregory Peck. My family watched it for an hour or two but that was that.

Even with the hundreds of channels we have now, they still don’t have such documentaries.

Too bad it wasn’t a 4 part Ken Burns produced documentary miniseries about other dogs, not just beagles.
