HAPPY 18TH BIRTHDAY NUMBER 3 !!!!!! I hope you have an incredible day and an even more incredible life ahead. You are destined to great things. BTW, I have a handsome grandson, about your age… just sayin……
I’m amazed at the talent of you commenters! I’m doing good to type my greetings without any artwork. #3 is really a favorite of Andy readers, so I add my congratulations to all the others. And I love her real name.
9 o’clock on a Sunday morning in my time zone and 67 comments already?!!!! I might have to move to Andy’s neighborhood (not that they’re likely to have me: I’d decrease the quality of not only Andy’s neighborhood but the rest of his time zone…….) Happy 18th birthday to Number 3, happy Sunday to the rest of the Cappers (and Pogoers), and always remember to never forget to….to….I forget the rest of it!
@Birthday GirlEven though I have retired from GoComics, I could not resist popping in to wish you a Very Happy 18th BIRTHDAYYou will always be in my thoughts.♥
Number Three (or Annalise), is not our pet or mascot. She is an adult human being in her own right. Now she can vote and make her own mistakes. Her life as a grown up begins now..Let me know what it’s like No. 3…..I might grow up one day.
While I think of it…..I don’t believe that Flo’s mum would allow Andy to “man-handle” her onto a bus back home. I see her as a rather “chunky” lady who takes NO nonsense from anyone.
Some people either on this strip or on Ballard Street have asked for this Christmas drink recipe. I usually double the liquid ingredients , in order to make more and decant into attractive bottles with corks or stoppers and adorn a holiday bow . It really does taste like it’s name !Grandma’s Apple Pie ‘Ala Mode’ Moonshine>>INGREDIENTS:
Original recipe makes 21 cups
1/2 gallon apple juice1/2 gallon apple cider4 cinnamon sticks1 whole clove1 cup white sugar1 cup brown sugar3 cups 190 proof grain alcohol (such as Everclear®)2 cups vanilla vodka
<<<<<<<<Directions
Bring the apple cider, apple juice, cinnamon stick, whole clove, white sugar, and brown sugar together in a large pot;bring to low boil, stirring to dissolve sugar, reduce heat to medium low and simmer for 20 minutes. Remove from heat and cool completely.Stir the grain alcohol and vanilla vodka into the cooled mixture. Pour into bottles and refrigerate.( I prefer a little more kicked up version with an additional 1/2 cup of the grain alcohol and 1/2 cup more of the vanilla vodka ).<><><>PREP5 minsCOOK20 minsREADY IN1 hr25 mins
I didn’t mean that Number Three was ordinary. I just thought that, as she is now an adult, she might feel better if we treated her as one.Nothing ordinary about our Starlet, half pint….she is a jewel…she has so much in front of her and I know her eyes adn heart are wide open to it all…I did try to post a pic showing my specialty, but it dissappered (copywighted I Assume) so its an ole timy one sortof…its just special as our birthday gir….
Number 3, unfortunaty I said most of what I mean at BS’r and will try to cut and paste….in any event, I was trying to give you a grandmotherly hug and slip in a few stock bonds…God bless

I think you need a LINK so people can look at it bigger and see the detail!
The news photo is impressive….did you take it yourself?

Happy birthday 3. May you have 82 more, at least. And may I be here to enjoy it also. One can dream can’t one?

I didn’t mean that Number Three was ordinary. I just thought that, as she is now an adult, she might feel better if we treated her as one.

You must still have some contacts, Number Six. (I mean SM). Oh no! That sounds a bit kinky.
Number Three almost 12 years ago
I’m really glad that you enjoyed yourself.
Thank you again for your comments, Gweedo.
See you tomorrow!
Number Three almost 12 years ago
Last comment for today…
Thank you so much to everybody for the birthday wishes, links and images.
And also your kindness, sweetness and generosity.
This Capper may be an adult now… But inside she’s still a little girl who loves comics and ‘Hello Kitty’ and ‘My Little Pony’
