Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
The peacock will communicate to Scott that his elbow is too high on his shot release or something, and the scoring begins. Soon, the bird will be sitting on the bench next to Gil offering hints about the triangle offense. The peacock said he learned to talk from the very eloquent Mr. Ed.
I thought peacocks went “HRONK”. Well, nevermind, because the deranged Mr. Fowler (“fowl”, get it?) will be convinced that this peacock is “Jay-bird” reincarnate.
Oddly enough, we have a family that raises peacocks (and peahens) in our neighborhood, so this really doesn’t appear to be unusual at all to the old Gilfan.
Ahh….I hope you Gilford fans are proud of yourselves, making cracks about little Jay-Bird and giving Neal material to work with to mess with us. I was hoping for an injured bald eagle to give us a patriotic theme. Since there are no aliens, no Marty, Mimi, Molly or Glory, the complimentary EES will have to do.
Cal is a HR hitter but, every HR hitter strikes out occasionaly. Cal will go down swinging, don’t know if he will look as spectacurlar as Reggie Jackson.
Okay, if you thought the last storyline was unreasonable, this one is looking to top it. Fowler really needs to get that eye looked at, it exploded yet again.
I am impressed with Rod, as the peacock’s claws are as detailed as his human hand drawings. Keep up the good work, as the art has been better than the storyline lately.

OBVIOUSLY there was going to be a peacock in the yard – these storylines are getting so predictable.

Yes, it’s the old “peacock-in-the-backyard” storyline…again! ;)

Obviously, the peacock means NBC will now be carrying Milford High School games. Hey, they can’t do much worse in the ratings!

St. Peter’s College, a Division I school in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, is the Peacocks. Maybe it’s a recruiting ploy.

Way to go, Lureman You call a Cat and on Monday a cat jumps the bird and poor Scott snaps. Have you no sensitivity?!
