Deadly toxins. Oh now there is a new job interview question.Beans and then beans with poison.Heck may add to the flavor. This character already uses spiced rats. At least he is not in the armor anymore.
The Chef’s name is Maurice and he has a French accent; maybe a nod to Maurice from the “New Adventures of Queen Victoria”? Either way, this went smoother than my first job interview; still I got hired!
Very good, Mister Neathery, Very funny indeed. We go from a heart-to-heart bonding and restitution of a damaged serial killer to a slice of Neathery’s perfectly-paced dry wit. I laughed out loud. For three and a half panels, I thought Maruice was being sarcastic, as he ramped up the hyperbole to surreal proportions. Holly’s final comment, the punchline, showed he was serious… which in one big wallop proved just how surreal their world is. It’s weird, creepy, funny. I have no idea what’s waiting around the next corner, and I love it.Endtown rocks!I’ve been away at the convention MiDFur for a week, and then tidying up all the loose ends for a further week. Now I’m back. I missed you all.

My first waitress job at 18 was wonderful. I got $25 tip from my first customer? Never knew why . Was laid off the next week for singing on the job. Used to be a very good singer . I guess they didn’t care for it. Next job wanted me to wear short skirt and black lace panty hose. That lasted 15 minutes it took me to observe the costume . Never went back to that kind of work.Anyway. As Jenner says, End town rocks!!! :>)Blessed Be
Flask is featured once again in my fourth and final entry in this year’s Christmas series at the Endtown Auction Block.. All proceeds help keep Endtown alive.. Thanks to all who participate!
Welcome back Jenner! At first I wondered why Chef didn’t just turn and see for himself Linda’s, ahh, “attributes”. But I guess he is focused on the meal, and one doesn’t always excrete one’s deadly toxins..BTW, Where is TSOJ?

Arms and legs? Deadly toxins? Mistakes made? I am sure that someday they’ll be able to look back and laugh at that story.

Customers used to come from all over just to LICK the Frog waitress.

If the rat quits, maybe Maurice can use a spicy rabbit. “Waitress! There’s a hare in my soup!”

If Linda excreted deadly toxins, Maurice could’ve given her the job of being the Secret Spice in the Bean Zoo-Brize.

Wow, that’s one ugly little mouse face in frame 1 and her attitude isn’t any too pretty either. Shaddap!?! Zoiks! Well, at least Maurice is back.

@surfstuff55 Thanks for the link! Looks like I’ve now got another rockin’ webcomic to follow…

Could be worst I suppose. Could have been a truck stop diner she was hired at, although that might require Endtown to have trucks first.

The turtle reminded me of Churchy, too. “Pogo” was one of the greatest comic strips of all time.

Real life businesses could learn from this interviewing procedure.
