Hobbes your right no need to lift the covers up any higher,some things should be left as you find them.Me under warm covers is one of them,now buzz off.

I prefer a nice even 20 degrees indoors (but then I use Celsius at home).

It’s a balming 58 in Atlanta.

The only thing sillier than shouting “First!” is fussing when somebody else does.And I agree with Hobbes. Why give up your warm just to say hi?

For the record: it’s a balmy 33 degrees F at 6am in Sioux Falls South Dakota – rare for this time of year. Might have to play a little hooky this afternoon…!!

NG: Why the nasty comment? I rarely post, but I read daily, and when I first joined margueritem was ALWAYS first and people tried so hard to get ahead of her, but it was all in fun and no one got snarky about it.

Follow up on yesterday’s strip:Kentucky mandates diesel for school buses, to avoid such tragedies.On the Interstate Louisville/Cincinatti some years ago a school bus was rammed and burned.Since then, Kentucky has implemented some of the strictest laws in the country, ie diesel, nothing in aisles, and roof exits.The driver even has to go to the back of the bus and push a button before he can leave the bus! (Check for sleepers)(Brother in law drove a bus for several years in LVL area)The laws stemmed from a used school bus carrying campers. It was rammed by a pickup truck with result door was jammed, passengers were blocked from back door by camping equipment etc.

@GPdancer: One night we had a contest to see who could post last. It went on for days. Pretty funny.

A yank on the tail should get the fireworks properly started. From the position of his right hand, Calvin may have already had that idea in mind….
