…and then he will need to get cable, or satellite, or settle for antenna reception…and still nothing will be on…oh, sad snowman, just go ahead and melt yourself.
Loved the video of The Snowman. The book is by Raymond Briggs. I had both in my elementary school library and showed the video to the younger classes around Christmas each year. It’s mesmerizing.
Niice. I have always loved the song “walking In the Air” from “The Snowman” Tarja Turunen and Nightwish did a version of it in the 90’s It is also on her newest solo album. Celtic Women have also recorded it.
I know that if I were that snowman, unable to move to colder climes (ah, heck, just unable to move at all!) and about to “die” soon, a big screen t.v. in my last remaining hours would certainly turn MY frown upside down!
What a delightful half hour interlude, six. I watched it while sipping spiced tea and recovering from a cold or something. The art and music in this film are the best I’ve seen. Thank you.
well, it depends on what type and how big the tv he is buying. if he is buying a lcd @ 32 inch, then it might run him $200. but, if he is getting the 85 inch 4k samsung which debut at ces this week, then it will be $40000. plus, the cabling from the set up box, wifi, the game consoles, blu-ray player, surround sound system. etc…it adds up.

Screen TV or not, it’s important to see and to hear what they broadcast!!

At this time, a big-screen TV probably meant a 25-inch floor console with enough wood around it to build a small house.

Nothing like a big screen TV to bring meaning to one’s existence.

Have you got a cuddly toy snowman, Calvin?
No probably not. You’re too ‘grown up’ for cuddly toys.
LOL xxx

The snowman will be able to ‘screen’ out whatever he doesn’t like.

I love that movie, I remember watching it at about 5 years old. I also love its song. The ending was a bit sad, though.

I think Bill wanted to say that we get easily distracted from our real purposes which is that we don’t have any.
