With bills and ads, I yearn for the days of snail mail.
I actually got a six page snail mail letter from Australia last week. What a refreshing diversion.
My microwave oven is so powerful it has actually set some things on fire, but I still get tired of waiting.
I used to work in a machine shop and oftimes the department foremen would have to choose which “urgent”, “rush” job took precedence.
As an e-mail admin this makes everything go down 2 notches in priority. Now every one marks it High importance, Read Receipt requested and encrypted for security and people wonder why no one considers anything important anymore.
I send real cards. A La snail mail. Encryption is for work. Just remember to NOT put the ‘senstive’ stuff in the subject line.
