More and more, people have giant TVs in their homes, with great sound systems- even 3-D capability. And with digital downloads that are nearly instant, movie theaters will start to disappear. I mean, what's going to save them? What ever it is, sir, it won't be free concessions. That'll be $43.50. You're not seeing the big picture! Neither are we pay the kid!

I have the large 3D LED TV with Blu-Ray player but I still love the movie theater experience. I have plans today to go to the movies with a friend.

Saturday matinées – 25 cents got us in with enough left over for snack. MacIntosh toffee. The BIG bar. With the wonderful teen behind the counter that knew how to get big smiles out of us little kids.Always bought the toffee when he was working. LOVED how he would smash it on the counter (by request) to break it into pieces..Now I buy the movie coupons through work so movie night will be $8.50 plus the $7 bucks for popcorn. (drink bottle is in the bag)

My honey has a big screen tv and blu ray but we still go to the movie theater for certain movies. We don’t bring our own food and we don’t buy it there. Who says you have to eat when you watch a movie?
