Yup, letâs not eat the potential children!?! Or the thought of what could be potential children? Or what could be potential children if things were just a little different? We really havenât gotten into how mutant children come about. Do chicken/human mutants hatch their young? If not, then in theory eggs wouldnât really be so much different from mawâs milk. Wow, what an odd discussion. Thanks Aaron, my head hurts. :-)
There is no child birth without a male partner. A female alone just lays eggs. No babies. Am I the only farm girl around? The eggs are often eaten by their own hens.Protein is proteinâŠ. period. And thatâs the truth!!!! :>)>
Loved that show. Archie always gave you that âDid he really say that?â moment. It was one of those rare programs that come along and are a real game changer â not just for TV, but how we look at ourselves.
Nobody mutated into any plants because the virus most likely couldnât penetrate the cell structure to pick up the DNA and have its descendant virus carry the plant DNA to humans. The plants were still destroyed by the Amesworth radiation because it was still organic.
This implies that thereâs a little boy or girl mutant in Ma Hefnerâs recent past. (If Linda is more intelligent than she acts, maybe sheâll figure that out.)
These are cartoon animals in a cartoon world. They can be as realistic or as unbelievable as the storyteller wants. The only thing is the willing suspension of our disbelief, while the mechanics of the narrative take us through the scene to its satisfying end. So, in this cartoon story, a cow can give milk, whether she has a secret calf or not.Personally, I hope her late husband was a rabbit called Hugh. But I suppose it is not to beâŠ
The issue of genetic mutation and children has not yet come upâ-there are children around (âGeneration Bean,â) but do they share any of the anthropomorphic characteristics of their mutated parents? Can those of different [in appearance] species even conceive a child together? (Wally and Holly might have an answer for that oneâ-someday.)
Puts a twist in there doesnât it. What Linda said does amount to a sort of cannabalism. Omlette the eggs. They are of course the offspring of chickens so eat the future kids. Hey the pigs lost a child. Ham anyone? Linda thinks still like a Topsider on that aspect. That is something else she needs to change. Dairy cows give milk constantly. That is what they were bred to do. Careful cross mating resulted in the milk cows of the more modern times. They have to milked or bad nice things can happen to them. They can die from lack of unloading. You just have to be careful with anything fresh like that due to bacteria and other things. Pasturization was created to stop things like that.
Câmon folks! This is a comic! Science need not apply. No set rules in comic land. Do what you want to do.If you have to have a scientifically âcorrectâ comic, go ahead and make your own.
People would still eat canned beans if someone had mutated into a human bean, I think. While they would think twice about it, the real onus would be on eating the offspring of the mutant, and not food predating the mutations. My understanding is that scavenged meats are kept as rewards, and people will eat them depending on how funny they feel about it. If Endtown were to start harvesting peopleâs offspring for food, that will bring up a more disturbing situation. Iâm sure that has already been debated by the residents, and Iâm sure there are some who are not ruling it out for the communityâs survival. Already weâve seen a cat who was ready to eat Holly. There are probably people in jail for murder who were not able to control their hunger and association of those who resemble food animals. As time goes on, the temptation may be too great for people, especially those in power, and a Kevin & Kell type society could develop with predator and prey roles, or husbandry. Or Morlocks and Eloi in the case of the Topsiders, who will have their own dietary dilemmas.Balut would be right out. For now.
The deibility of the eggs would be how they are considered. Is an unfertilized egg an ova, or placenta? Actually both, I know. It would take some mental stretching to seriously consider the points of view on this issue. Back to plants. Have some seeds been recovered from any seed banks that might exist? If so, is there any gardening at all just to verify the viability of the seeds, if nothing else?
Now hereâs a side of anthropomorphics you donât see explored very much. Animal byproducts like food and fur and leather and such. Way to delve Aaron, very interesting topic, hope to see how this part of your universe plays out.
I find this intresting set of ethics in anthros. In this context it can actually be argued that anthros are more evolved that TSers. Preditor and prey anthros actuall live in harmony or some facsimile therof. But would never eat each other. They still consider each othe as people.
What after reading that, you mean to say that these creations that can say, call someone every name in the book (but a child of God), didnât realize as mutants, they have the ability produce their own materials (lay eggs, give milk, etc.) instead of looking for food topside and getting killed (and be used for brain harvesting) by those crash-test dummies (the topsiders)?! WE would have expect more from a very creative strip like this! (Aside from the artwork) If this was me and my cousinâs comic, weâve would have came six weeks into the stripâs debut! But no, this is not our strip, it YOUR strip and me, my group and the others are just reading it!!
(I could say âeggs arenât kids; baby goats are kidsâ, but Iâd probably say it in a different forum.)
We donât know what Topsiders eat â they might be so used to processed Name-brand Topsider Chow in sanitary sealed tins that theyâd turn their nose up at anything that came direct from an animal.
Then again, Linda might have some residual Topsider revulsion against mutants â bad enough to be one, worse to live with them, but drink their mutie milk?!
So are those monsters with many eyes on Topside, plant or animal? How about the pixel critters? Seriously, theyâre so bizarre we might not really know. My head is beginning to hurt, too!
Once the calf has matured the mother contiues to give milk if properly stimulated, such as being milked. She will continue to give milk until the next ovulation. Have you ever watched the documentaries on Animal Planet. They donât even give the cows any pain medicine because they think that this is natural to encourage the birth and following need to nurse. Interesting and a little shocking. I never saw one as our cows chose to drop in the night and we woke up to a new calf.Blessed Be
From the many comments we have this is an interesting particular. The monsters that were created from awake TSrshave to eat something. What?" Each other. Do they have any concept of what is edible or not? Are they changed with intellect intact ? Sooner or later they would run out of food if they eat each other. I donât think there are that many being produced on a continuous manner. Do they have the intelligence to try to break into one of the towers or Endtown. I would like to see how that challenge would resolve. Could we have a little look into this Aaron? I know you are busy with " life goes on". Maybe just a little peek. Love youBlessed Be.
Point of orderâŠI doubt there are enough milk- and egg-producers among the Endtowners to satisfy their appetitesâŠso even if they, er, âeat of themselves,â itâs still âbeans, ho!â
It is hard to imagine topsiders reproducing, those pesky suits they can never remove, but it should be pretty easy amongst End towners. Aside from the fact you wouldnât know exactly what you would end up with. Somethings would work well, like a bunny-cat, but kangaroo giraffe might be stretching it a bit!
Im not sure it works that way. In some of the last series there were anthro children shown but i never saw any hybrids. Maybe the offspring are whatever the mother is. Just a guess. My gf is a mouse, the girls are mice but then she was newly pregnant before we both turned
