Or Sardines would have done it. He could have just brought out a tin and started eating them.

They can always get down if they really want to. I had a black kitten that climbed up a tree and then started crying because he was scared to come down. I managed to get high enough to pull him off the tree and released him. A couple of hours later I went looking for him and discovered he was up the tree again, crying. The trouble it was now night and pitch black and I wouldn’t have even been able to see where he was so I just went to bed. The next morning I found him back on the ground with no help from me.

Peekaboo “fell” for Jimbo’s subterfuge.

We have a dachshund who barks hen he wants someone to lift her off the couch. She gts herself off when she hears trets being removed from their packages.
