I can’t believe no one has commented on this yet. As for me, no comment.

I don’t think him crying during a movie means he’s “feminine.” Real men do cry and show their feelings. What they don’t know is women love that because it shows he’s sensitive. And I don’t mean just crying when his favourite team loses lol!

I cried, my brother cried, my nieces cried and my husband cried… when it was shown on TV, I cried again – twice, even though I knew what was going to happen.

I would submit to you all that a man crying simply means he’s real, transparent, confident, and unconcerned with societal ideas of performance & propriety.

I cry when I see “The Green Mile” (I bawled the first time.)I cry when I see “The Blind Side”.I cry when I see “Old Yeller”.I cry while watching "Star Trek: The Next Generation “All Good Things…” (not because it’s sad, but because it’s the series finale).

TS3 may be the Pixar movie that came closest to making me cry. “Up” is its only competition.

They traded the baby for the dog. Neither’s been seen for awhile.

The first movie I recall where I shed a tear or two was Brian’s Song, about a football player who got cancer. I’ve cried at others since then too, including Toy Story.

We males learn early on not to cry or show emotion. To do so lets your enemies to know that they hurt you.
