Coming Soon đ At the beginning of April, youâll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
Marcus and Jason: Beware the eyes of March! Woooooooo!
Paige: It's "Ides" you geeks. "Beware the ides of March." Sheesh. Get a clue.
Marcus: Check online. Maybe there's an eyes of April.
Jason: (oof) hwod you get yours off?
Incidentally, âIdes of Marchâ is but the English-language rendering of the latin Idus Martiae â but todayâs strip wouldnât make sense with that name. Ides of March was also the one hit wonder band that gave us âVehicleâ back in 1970.
My three favorite scifi movies from the 50âs: Forbidden Planet (groundbreaking; Star Trek was heavily influenced by this film); Them! (I like that they used actual physical giant ant effects, and not just opticals); The Thing from Another World (great scene when they douse the Thing with kerosene and set it on fire).

Remind me, whatâs an ide?
curmudgeon68 almost 12 years ago
There is no singular ide. The ides generally reefers to the middle of the month.
