It seems to me Paige and Peter did some pretty nice thinking-within-their-means a couple of last days. Mom could at least allow them to continue with that!

counterpoint to the cliff argument: if I polled people who jumped off cliffs and got 100% feedback that the act was enjoyable and knew the technique, then I would conclude the act was safe and indeed give it a shot.

My niece and her friend hailed a cab in Cancun on spring break and the driver attempted to abduct them. Luckily they were smart enough to jump out at a stoplight and run for their lives. Another friend of theirs wasn’t so lucky and was raped. Later, my niece discovered that the abduction of pretty girls, especially during spring break, was becoming more and more common. If I had a daughter, I’d think twice before allowing her to go to some lovely event like ‘spring break.’
