Cathy, you would create your own pressure even if you’re talking to a wall! :-)@ Susan – Chaz has it mostly right. He just doesn’t know you’re on a Mac. So, for a Mac, it’s Command +.@ hendelca – Good memory! I forgot about Billy’s award. Maybe tonight I can go back and search.Have a great day, Cathy Clan! The kids are finally back at school today, so maybe I can get some stuff cleaned up. (fingers crossed)

When I see PDA, I always think Public Display of Affection. Is that the old school teacher in me? I didn’t care if the teenagers held hands in the hall, but if they were standing a few feet away engaging in extreme lip lock, I would go stand right next to them and ask, “Would you be doing this in front of your mother? No? Then have the same sense of decency in front of your teachers.” That usually stopped it, although one time a kid said, “Yeah, I would.”Hey, Cathy Clan. To those checking on Aaron and Billy, thanks for what you are doing.

Oh, brother!!!!! Leave it to Cathy to decide at the very last panic-stricken minute that her initial, less expensive PDA decision was all wrong to begin with and what she REALLY needs is the more expensive one instead. I thought she did her research before coming into this store to begin with. What happened, anyhow??? This is one of the many reasons why Cathy is probably up to her eyeballs in debt and always will be!!!!!
Hi, regciper!
hendelca: It took me some time, but I was able to go all the way back and found Aaron’s post last year on 2/4/12 regarding Dr. Billy’s award announcement here. Unfortunately, he didn’t mention what the award was specifically called and even using the date he received it on (2/3/12), I’m still having trouble finding anything about it on the internet anywhere and you would think that for such a prestigious award (regarding his medical research on DNA structures and non-surgical cancer cell treatments according to Aaron), there would have been SOME mention of it somewhere!!!!! I even found a site called the “nih record” but so far, I haven’t been able to find anything about him or the award there either and you’d think that of ALL places, it would have been written about in a newsletter where he works! I haven’t made it through every archived article yet but so far . . . nothing — which is really strange because you’d think if it was going to be written about anywhere, it would be there! But I’m going to keep trying though; I’m not quite ready to give up just yet! I’ll let everyone know what I find (if there’s anything TO find) when I get the chance to do more research.
By the way, hello and Happy Tuesday (at least, what’s left of it anyhow!) to all my Cathy friends. Hope you’re having a good week so far!

Ow. My head hurts from that giant [eye-roll] that Cathy brought on herself …
Thanks to all for your efforts to track down Aaron and Billy. Keep us posted, as I really miss them, too.
HI, MOM. Hello, Clan.

Isn’t it possible that “Billy” and “Aaron” were not their real names? I miss them, too, but am beginning to suspect that they will never be found.I hope I’m wrong!

Most people don’t use their real names on the Internet, at least once they’ve they’ve been pestered by spammers a few times. So Aaron and Billy might not have been their real names.
But it’s also true – and I know you’re all going to hate me for saying this – that a lot of people give misleading information about ages, looks and occupations too. We can be who we’d like to be in the virtual world, instead of the boring types we are in reality.
I hope they are real, are well and have just been occupied with something else recently. I really would love to see them back here. But my “real” self (who isn’t a cat) is wondering whether they had got into an imaginary world which had spiralled so far beyond their control that they had to escape,
Either way, they are very much missed at Cathy’s place.

Thanks, Molly. It really hurts to have these kind of thoughts, and to express them. Like you, I hope I’m wrong.
