I think this one today is very cute. And deep thinking….very deep. Guisewite is a genius.

What a WONDERFUL Cathy strip today and so bang-on right too!!! While my husband is my best MALE friend in the whole world, NO ONE listens to and understands me better than my DOG does. She’s my daily “therapist” and without her, I’d be absolutely lost!!!!!
Hi, rgcviper!
lightenup: How did the Girl Scout troop’s sleepover go at the zoo last night?
Susan: You’ve got THAT right! Maybe I’m just getting old and cranky but more and more, I find that I can tolerate people less and less these days (well, some people anyhow)!
Hello and Happy Saturday, fellow “Cathy” fans. Hope everyone’s having a really great weekend so far!

I agree, Susan! Many days, I’m just soo over people!!Hi Cathy clan! The zoo was a lot of fun, but I’m so tired!! Last night, we met some animals, looked through microscopes to examine parts of animals, used a radio to find an “animal” (stuffed), looked through the reptile house in the dark with special lights (spooky!), got a tour of the zoo kitchen where they store and prepare the animals’ food, and used night vision scopes to see animals in the dark. This morning, we got a continental breakfast and a tour of the zoo before it opened to the public. Fun!!Yes, the girls stayed up late as expected, which I was fine with, but there were a couple that I was just finished with. Most of the girls in my troop are sweet, helpful and nice to be around, but there are at least of couple of them who talk back, don’t help and are demanding. Thankfully, I won’t have to deal with them anymore in the troop because we’re dissolving. Still, I did want to feed them to the lions… ;-)

… and always willing (or is that forced?) to listen, too.
HI, MOM. Hello, Clan.
