PC: "Delete all 165 new messages?" Cathy: Hah! The Bulk Buy 32 boxes of tissues 54 bars of soap. The Bulk Achievement Return calls while toning glutes and studying French. And now another 21st Century first... The Bulk Dump
I agree with specinss though, I don’t do a bulk delete because who knows what will be lost. I have one email account solely used for companies or when I buy things. So I get tons of junk email daily on that with companies’ sales or deals. I do a bulk delete every once in a while, but need to check for any emails about my purchases because I like to keep those.Good morning, Cathy Clan! “Exciting” time last night… we had 70-80 mph winds here last night with the storms (I don’t think it was officially a tornado but we did go to the basement closet because it had some of the characteristics). Now we have some trees down, but we are lucky because no one was hurt and a neighbor has 3 trees on her house. Hugs!
lightenup – our weather south of you wasn’t quite as bad, but enough rumbles of thunder to make my dog jump the fence and come around to the front yard. Don’t know why she thinks that is a solution to her anxiety. Maybe I need to get her one of those thundershirts.Happy Friday to the Cathy Clan!
I can usually tell by the subject line what kind of an e-mail is waiting for me to look at (funny joke vs. someone wanting to sell me Viagra pills, for example!) so most of the time, it’s pretty easy to do a “bulk dump” (if necessary) without having to open up every single one of them first. Hopefully Cathy studied all her subject lines in advance so that she doesn’t accidentally delete anything important related to her job first. Otherwise . . . GO, GIRL, GO!!!!! ;-)
Hi, rgcviper!
Ryan: Teeheehee!!! Very juvenile . . . but very cute all the same!!!!! ;-)
lightenup: What a scary situation! Regarding retreating to the basement for protection during severe thunderstorms that could produce a tornado: been there, done that a few times myself over the years living where I do in southern Indiana (but thankfully nothing’s ever happened). Hopefully the kids weren’t too traumatized and I’m glad to hear you and your house escaped harm last night (sorry to hear that about your neighbor though).
catsarge – I’m sure you’ve heard already that the Weather Service has determined that it was a tornado that came through here. And based on the houses that were damaged the worst, it’s easy to see the path it took. Scary to know how close it was. Glad you all weren’t hit too hard, although I’m sorry about your dog getting scared. It’s always hard on them, poor things. Thanks, ncalifgirl and GretchensMom! Jr was upset last night, so we played games on my phone while in the basement closet to keep her calm and then she finally relaxed when my husband got home. But after all day of talking to others, I do feel fortunate that this is all we have to deal with. It’s a shame that this sort of extreme weather is now becoming the norm.

Can’t you hold down the shift key, and highlight all the messages you want to delete? Give it a try.

If only it were that easy, Cathy.
I’m about to leave for vacation, and will return a week from today. Have a great week, everyone.
HI, MOM. Hello, Clan.
