Happy Friday!@everyone – I really enjoyed reading everyone’s comments on education yesterday – thank you! I sincerely believe that the biggest influence on a child’s education (and overall future really) is the parents. And I think that the government has had to get involved more in education because parents have not (not that I agree with it, but I can see why). The American people are up in arms if our kids are doing poorly in school, demanding action, but many don’t want to do the work it takes to raise smart, hard working children. It’s sad, but it’s happening more and more. But a parenting discussion is for another day… ;-)Anyway, I really enjoyed that we could discuss a topic respectfully. Love the Cathy Corner!
