Boy, is Susan right about this one. Even though the strip is years old, it’s still the same today!

The most annoying thing is when the website says to call the phone number, and the phone recording says to visit the website. That really makes me blow my top!

I really love it when we’re having connection problems (VERY common here recently) and you try the inbuilt Troubleshooting thing. It can’t fix the problem (again) – so it tells you to go online and contact the Help department.
I’m learning a new language these days.
Oh, ha ha ha . . . got cut off again in the middle of writing this!

This is why I am building a desk myself out of real materials. I don’t want to deal with either the shoddy workmanship or the horrid non-service. I suppose Cathy didn’t bother with woodshop, though.

This desk was probably made in China and I don’t know of anything made there to exactly be of the finest quality so good luck getting any help or satisfaction from the store you bought it from. I’m sure all the rest of the “to be assembled” desk kits they have will no doubt be the exact same way as this one . . . peeling veneer, missing parts, etc. Once again, Cathy, good money not exactly well spent on your part! [Having said that though, no one deserves to be cheated out of their money no matter how smart — or dumb — they are!]
Hi, rgciper!
scrabblefiend: My husband and I have some CDs at Ally Bank. No matter what time of the day or night, no matter what day of the week it is [even on a Sunday], a real live person answers the phone in less than 6 rings when you call them — no recorded messages of any kind whatsoever. It’s very refreshing!
Hello and happy Thursday, fellow “Cathy” fans. Hope everyone’s had a really nice day today!

You could try saying “Representative”, Cathy. Or just saying nothing at all. In my experience, silence often connects you to a real person.
Thanks for the update, hendelca, and keep us posted. Best of luck to you.
HI, MOM. Greetings, Clan.
