While I don’t use color-coded file folders, I do use color-coded file labels. As Cathy points out, it makes it a lot easier to find things that way when they’re all filed in their proper places.

lightenup: Re: seattlepi & oregonlive where I can’t see the comments anymore — no, I don’t have “hide the comments” clicked accidentally [I’ve already tried that, just in case]. Right underneath the comic, it has “Buy A Print”, e-mail, Facebook and Twitter features, and that’s it. Thanks for all the help you’ve tried to give me so far but I’ve pretty much given up there. Whatever’s going on I don’t see ever getting fixed — particularly if some sort of Chrome update is what screwed it up to begin with. It’s what’s going on here at G.C. that has me puzzled — and a little worried. If that’s also an update problem, then it’s never going to get fixed either. Like I said, I’m just grateful I can still see and leave comments here. If there ever comes a day and I just disappear without a word, that’s most likely going to be the problem because if there’s any way I can leave word that I’m not coming back, then I absolutely will. Do you still have the Cathy Gmail address you set up? Because if there comes a day when I can’t comment here anymore, that’s how I’ll have to let you know. I don’t know that that will ever happen but just in case it does, it’ll probably happen suddenly and I won’t be able to let you know any other way otherwise. [B/t/w: I’m STILL waiting for G.C. to contact me again. Probably never going to get any help there.]

Love the comic Mom!! Don’t give up yet — GoComics usually does get back to me when I contact them. It sometimes takes a few days for them to figure out what the problem is and last year, when I wasn’t getting my comics because of something AOL had done, it took a few weeks, but they did get it fixed.

As for Cathy — OCD — like me. :)

I’ve just seen this page and discovered that more and more of Cathy’s Clan seem to be having problems seeing the comments and / or answering them. It happened to me a while back and although I could get in to see the comics, nothing else was visible or clickable.

It got to the point where I stopped trying because there didn’t seem to be anything I could do about it. Now I can sometimes get here via another computer, like today, but when you lose touch with the comments you’re a bit lost on the rare occasions that you can get in to read them.

So – hello, everyone who’s still here! My apologies for usually being here incognito.
