This guy is obviously no investment counselor. Investing $1800 in a good mutual fund, CD, money market, even under your mattress would be better than spending it on coffee.

I enjoy a good Starbucks chai tea (the only thing I get there) every once in a while (one every couple of months as a treat), but I save plenty and try to invest wisely.

I don’t drink coffee. And I sure as heck would never get one from Starbucks. So where’s all my money?

I admit that I don’t have any savings now because I’m a student and don’t have much coming in but that’s the future goal and we teach our kids to save. I do like coffee, especially flavored coffee but most times I make it at home. I have never had anything from Starbucks.

We don’t have Starbucks (or anything remotely like it) where I live. I always make my own tea and coffee – unless of course my OH does!

I still haven’t got any money, though. At least I’m saved the worry over what to do with it!

If she hadn’t spent her money on high-priced coffee at Starbucks, she’d have just spent it on even more shoes and clothes instead. I wonder if Irving has the same problem (no money because he’s spent his on things like expensive coffee and fancy electronic gadgets)? If he’s a more fiscally responsible person than she is, then he’d better think twice before marrying a spendthrift like Cathy because once he does, her debts then become his debts.

I do like Starbucks because nobody else has a really good cinnamon latte. You don’t have to go broke drinking coffee tho unless you have to have 6 of them a day.
