Telling one’s partner to “mind their own beeswax” when it comes to financial discussions regarding what was purchased and for how much? Way to go, Mom! Every daughter should be so lucky as to have a mother give her the kind of advice that does nothing but sets her (future) marriage up for failure before she and her fiancé even reach the altar to say their “I Do’s.” Trust and communication in a marriage. Who needs them?! Right?!?
