I prefer the simple thoughts of Cathy’s dad. I say things in a direct manner, I like things simple and straightforward… why complicate everything? If I have questions, I ask, otherwise, I move on. Life is hard enough, why make it crazier?.Hello Cathy clan! Sorry I missed yesterday, some of those bridesmaid dresses were um, interesting! QuietStorm, enjoy your last day of leftovers! In some ways, it’s good to be done, but in others, it’s nice not to have to cook every day.Have a great day everyone!

Only Cathy’s mom could find eight meanings for the word “great” (though I’m sure she was thinking of a ton more …).
HI, MOM. Hello, Clan.

I’ve got a 9th one for her “in-brain thesaurus”: “Great — Irving’s sitting right here so I can’t tell you just how hideous and awkward that whole disastrous Thanksgiving trip to visit the future in-laws really was so you’ll just have to wait for the complete low-down until the next time I see you alone . . . AACK!!!!!” ;-)
