That was sweet, but it sort of cancels each other out. I hope they just enjoy each other on their honeymoon rather than something electronic..Hello Cathy clan! I hope you all are having a good day! Thanks for asking, Sis! My husband was really happy with his time. It was his second 1/2 marathon and he wanted to beat his time from the first, which he did… 1 hour 46 min! Very proud of him!
Exactly, @summerdog. Cathy and Irving know each other well enough for him to understand that she expects him to focus on her during their honeymoon and for her to understand that he can’t go five minutes without being plugged into the latest communications technology. As weird as they may seem to us, they’re actually made for each other!
Awww how sweet how each thinks of the other. Hopefully they spend some electronic-free time together :) Goodness knows they’ll be surrounded by plenty of it once the honeymoon is over!
I haven’t been alone with my husband on a romantic beach va-cation for two since we honeymooned in Hawaii 27 years ago and what I wouldn’t give to go on another trip like it again some-day! I don’t know that it’ll ever happen, but I’m hopeful it will. And if it does, under NO circumstances would I take any electronic gadgets along with me except my phone (and that’s only so that my elderly mother could reach me in an emergency; otherwiseI’d leave it at home too). Being able to unplug and get away from it all in a romantic setting to not only enjoy the moment I’m in, but also the wonderful man I’d be spending that moment with? To me, that’s absolutely priceless and I can’t imagine anything in life that would be better or more important than that! ♥
Hi, rgcviper! :-)
lightenup: Glad to hear your hubby did so well on his recent half marathon. He should be very proud of himself indeed! ;-)
Hello and Happy Thursday, fellow Cathy fans. Hope everyone had a really nice day today! :-)
And for the record, this comment is #11,000 for me here on GoComics. Hard to believe … I’ve enjoyed so much interacting with all here in the “Cathy” Clan, too. Cheers!

Sweet but defeats the purpose. I can understand phones in case of emergency and only in case of emergency. Everything else can wait.
Hello Cathy clan! Congrats to your hubby lightenup!
