Fantasy meet reality. :-DKeep in mind this strip was in 2005 wasn’t it? If my memory is correct with 2005, then this was still a few years before the housing bubble burst and people were no longer buying $600K tear-downs.Either way, it’s never a good idea to invest all of your money in your house, especially with frivolous things like putting greens..Hello Cathy friends! I’ve been busy getting ready for this move and the end of the school year. Most days, I come here to read Cathy and make a comment and then get distracted and forget to submit it. Oops!Have a great weekend!

Our first house cost us £2,650. Three years and two kids later, we sold it for £3,000. We WERE rich!

Probably in California :). Where I live 600K gets you a 1200 sq. foot condo in an OK neighborhood

How about some reality to go with all that, Cathy and Irving? Nah—too overrated, right?

My second house cost $32,000 and sold for $76,000. I’m in my third house and plan to die here…. :) But those prices must be SF or NY.
