That’s one of the things that drives me crazy about real estate agents. Sure, they’re trying to sell you on the potential of the house, but how about enjoying the house as is? When I was working with a homebuilder designing my house, they (and my agent) kept pushing upgrades and talking about resale value. “Oh, go for the Jacuzzi tub. It’ll be a great resale value when you go to sell the house.” Excuse me, I’m designing this house for me to live in, not just so I can turn around and sell it.
With the real estate agent pointing out all of this cute little house’s "inadequacies” rather than all of its charm, seems like she’s doing everything in her power to talk them out of buying it rather than the other way around. Not a very good way of doing things in the house-selling business if you ask me! :-P
Hi, rgcviper! :-)
Hello and Happy Friday / Canada Day fellow Cathy fans. Hope everyone had a really great day today! :-)
Yeah, I’ve always been in the group where I buy a house based on what it is now. Sure, it’s probably not perfect, but I’ll change it on my timeline and budget, not what a stranger thinks. Or maybe I’m happy with things, even if they’re not perfect..Hello Cathy friends! One week until Move Day, and a few short days until Pack Day! I’m happy yet stressed at the same time. And poor Jr was really sick today, so that didn’t help productivity. But sick children come first…Have a great weekend all, and happy Canada day!

She’s stupid; they are already sold on the house.

Is this the Flip or Flop show or the Fixer Upper show?

And you, well-meaning real estate lady? You could just let them make their own decisions!
But, scratch that. Then, where would we get our daily [eye-roll]??
HI, MOM. Happy Friday, Clan.
