My dogs go bonkers when a doorbell similar to ours rings on screen. They never did that with a “conventional” audio setup. I’m sometimes fooled by telephone rings that sound like our phone.
One time we were watching a documentary about cats, so there was a lot of meowing. One of my cats was going crazy running around trying to find the “other cats” so we turned it off. It sounded very real to her!
Hello Cathy clan! Lil is back at school today. :-) Have a great day, all!
Sorry, Irving, but this kinda seems like a “You-asked-for-it” moment, by showing your dogs the dogs on TV. I’ll go ahead and toss in an [eye-roll] for good measure, though.

Our cat doesn’t seem interested on cats on the TV. She’s more interested in looking out the patio screen door where she has “Smell-o-vision”!

My cats are more likely to react to birds on the TV…but I have seen them once or twice be interested in the sound of a cat meowing.
