I always walked our dogs before bedtime down the dark, creepy, rural road I live on. It was a nice routine for us. Stars….lots and lots of stars out on good nights. I miss my dogs. I never did get any more. I do walk my son’s Chihuahua at lunch time when he’s at work. Sometimes we walk to my house and she spends the afternoon at Grandma’s.
People who don’t want to take care of their dog and all its needs has no business getting one. They are living, breathing, feeling little beings that love, trust and depend upon us for their very survival. They deserve to be spoiled and well cared for, not abused or (in Cathy’s case), neglected simply because she’s “changed her mind” due to it being “dark and creepy out” and because she doesn’t “feel like it” tonight. Tomorrow? Electra doesn’t have time for that. She has to go out NOW! Those are just stupid, sad and sorry excuses to be lazy and shirk her duties as a responsible dog-mom to her precious pet. Electra is adorable and if she were real, I’d be more than happy to take her off Cathy’s hands and give her a happy, healthy, loving and stable home because sadly, she sure isn’t getting any of those things where she’s at now! :-/

Hi, rgcviper! :-) I saw the link you provided yesterday from that P.B.S. comic strip from 8 years ago. That was before I started reading it so I had never seen that particular one before. Holy cow! Gives a whole new meaning to the quote: “What has been seen cannot be unseen.” YIKES and AACK!!!!! ;-)

Hello and Happy Tuesday, fellow Cathy fans. Hope everyone had a really nice day today! :-)

If it’s to dark and creepy out for her to go alone, she should bring Irving and his dog along. I’m sure both dogs would love to get out of the house.

I agree with GretchensMom! Don’t get a dog if you’re not going to take her for a walk! Poor Electra!
Hello Cathy friends! Happy Tuesday! I hope you all are having a great day!

I’ll stop procrastinating someday. If I ever get around to it.
I’m with the crowd here, though, since taking care of pets is important. Do what you have to do to keep them healthy and happy.
HI, MOM. Greetings, Clan.

Agree with all of the above…get off your butt, Cathy and take Electra for a walk.
