You waited long enough, Charlene! She’s been married to one of Cathy’s old boyfriends, for years!

Only Cathy could have taken Charlene’s upcoming “blessed event” and made it all about her getting a legitimate reason to take the summer off from the angst of bathing suit season rather than saying “Congratulations!” and being just as happy that her b.f.f. is finally having an (I’m sure) long-awaited baby as Charlene is! :-/

The interesting thing here is that we never really know when Charlene’s baby is born if I remember correctly. So does Cathy just reject her (or vice versa) because she’s having a baby?
