I think that there are some dogs who don’t mind wearing costumes and love the attention they bring. Others, not as much, and it’s up to the owner to know their pet to know what’s the best for them. For me, as long as the animal is okay with the costume, I think they’re cute! As for Irving, either say “yes” or say what you think, as long as you keep it kind, but you just look like a fool today.
