This is why I always thought it was a shame that the strip ended when it did. I would love to see Irving’s mother and Cathy’s mother duke it out. My money would have been on Cathy’s mother!

No matter where these two end up for the holidays, the mom just totally takes over. It’s pretty predictable for C & I, so they can adjust beforehand. It’s all about learning to cope with it.

Yikes! The only thing worse than a woman who can’t — or won’t — cut the apron strings from her mother is a MAN who can’t — or won’t — cut those same strings from his!

I remember these horrible episodes with Irving’s mom…she is totally pathetic.

Irving does not seem to be fighting back at all – other than an eye-roll. At least his father seems to be a little more human.

Another late night tonight – at the theatre all day since we open on Friday – seems way to soon. Have a good night everyone.
