It’s not lost on HER. It’s lost on HIM. Why does he think women agonize over every wardrobe choice they make every single day and, if they’re like Cathy, are constantly shopping for something new and different?
This could be okay in certain companies. There are plenty of start-ups or relaxed tech companies where it’s okay to wear what you like (within reason). In the 90s, my husband wore shorts on a regular basis at our software company. Some commented on it, but it was fine with management so he continued to wear it. And if the CEO or CFO own the company, they can decide to wear whatever they like. I’m guessing the management team was out on a team building event, so that could happen too. So if Irving did walk into a company like that (age doesn’t matter) and he didn’t pick up on the fact that they are more casual, then he is out-of-touch and clueless. Do your research and know the company culture, Irving. Sort of explains his clueless “women” statement.
Hello Cathy friends! Happy Thursday! Have a great day, all!

The irony is lost on her, just remember to say “Oh, poor Baby” the next time she complains about something

I’ve found most guys don’t really care what women wear—especially shoes. It’s other women that judge you.

Maybe men feel judged by what they put on and women by what they leave off? …I have no idea.
