I can relate to not answering telephone calls. I no longer use my landline because of telemarketers and scammers. My iPhone is easier … all calls not in contacts are silenced; all I have to do is delete them!
I totally agree with karlykru, my landline is a plague on my daily peace & quiet. However, my Android phone actually sniffs out spam calls and warns me before I answer. I just touch “report” and that number is automatically blocked. My landline has only one big advantage: when it rings, I know where it is, it’s in its cradle in the hall or beside my bed.
I still prefer my landline. I use my cell phone only when travelling and other than the Disney and Touring Plans apps, which have become absolutely necessary when visiting the parks or cruise line, I don’t use any of the ‘smart’ features. Yes, the telemarketing and scam calls are annoying but they have dropped in number over the past year. One a week seems to be about it and we don’t bother answering them Although I do love telling the political caller that this country has a secret ballet so who I support is a secret. That seems to throw the caller off.
Anyhow, I hope you are enjoying this fine Saturday afternoon.

Please, Cathy, keep this on the down low. Somewhere, even now, marketers must be testing ravioli-transmitted advertising. :) :( :( :(

I thought she was getting delivery and couldn’t figure out why they were yelling what it was.

Yup—another [eye-roll] from me on this one. Though, the call of ravioli can be enticing. Eat me. EEEEAT me … Ha.
HI, MOM. Happy Late Friday, Crew.
