I think this is one reason some women started cellophane-coloring their hair. Nothing like a day-glo magenta head to distract people from criticizing your clothing choices. :)
My older daughter worked at a Giant Tiger (low cost everything including clothes) many years ago and she was shocked at how inconsiderate most shoppers were. Yes, leaving tried on clothes on the floor and walking away. That floor was often covered in wet sand and salt in the winter so the clothing could not be put directly back on the rack. Sure glad I was taught to be considerate of others.

It’s absolutely unbelievable how rude Cathy is being here. Never in a million years would I try on clothes of any kind and then just leave them all over the floor for the over-worked, under-paid store employees to pick up and put back on the hangers themselves! They’ve already got enough to do without having to do that too. If anything, not only do I put everything back on the hangers, but I’ll actually put all the clothes back on the rack (or neatly folded up on the display shelf) where I found them rather than leave that job for the employees to do for me. Such arrogance on the part of the public. Where are peoples’ manners anymore?!? :-/

I was taught to put clothes back on the hanger after trying them … Cathy is old enough to know better!
