I think a lot of people today find vacations just like the early 90’s – they are expected to be able to be contacted in case they are needed. I pointed out to a former employer back in the 90’s that if I was important enough to be reachable on my vacation I was not being paid enough.

A vacation is sounding pretty darn good right about now. Though, having the Fourth off was so nice. Pretty awesome fireworks show on TV. Hope you’ve had a nice holiday.
Saw some fireworks, spent some time with friends, taking the week off (because nobody ever remembers they have an appt on a holiday week), not too shabby.
